Temples & Triumphs

Well hello everyone,

I know, I know, I've been horrible at writing. But here is the latest update on what is going on with me and my family. John's football teem went to the state football team 1A Championship on the 15th and they won. The first time ever that North Sevier has ever won a state title. As can be seen on my brother's face, he was really excited.

Melanie also had a big day, she got to go to the temple for the first time on Saturday. It’s been a fun time and I’ve felt like we’ve had thanksgiving at least three times because of all the family and friends that we’ve seen. Anyway, Hope everyone has fun and I love you all.

P.s. Tami, I did take the picture that is my header. If you look closely, you can see the Tetons in the back ground. I took it at the sand dunes, pretty cool huh. Love ya!!

Congrats to John...AND Melanie! What great things to have happen to my favorite family! I love the picture of all of you in front of the temple. This is what Heavenly Father sent us here for, having the fun times combined with the saving ordinances which bind families together. How wonderful. You all look so happy and peaceful. He must love us alot to give us opportunities to experience that with our families. Thanks for sharing!

So have you met either of Aimee's dudes? I'm wanting your take on them...make sure they are good enough to take up her valuable time. I'm sure your paths haven't crossed yet but when they do, you take notes for me, k?

Oh, now I can sort of place where you took your header picture. That photo takes my breath away every time I see it. It's gorgeous. Must have been amazing to see for the first time...like your own little hug from Heavenly Father just for you. Again, thanks for sharing...

And in this whole comment, not once did I say anything about how long it's been since you blogged, how much I miss it when you don't blog, or that I check your blog almost everyday to see if you've blogged! Aren't you proud of me?!

Love you! :D

I don't know whether to comment on your blog post or mom's comment :)

Jen-
I loved spending Thanksgiving with you and your family. I feel they are my own. I loved watching John play his game in Provo. He is quite the star now. :) Mel sounds like she is getting ready to serve the Lord. I think she was ready all along, they just officially told her she was ready to begin the job with a title. She will be amazing out there in CA.

When are we going to read about your new job? :)
